Chicago River - DeSalle Bridge
A clear day...
Brings out the beauty in the water in contrast with the towering buildings.

I love the color in this photo and have worked it to pull the viewer into the city. If you look closely through the bridge you can even see the 'CornCobs' off to the left...and the slight reflection of the tall building in the water to the right.

Just sitting and watching the boats go by gives you cause to take a shot or two. It all seems to work together seamlessly. The bridges, the buildings - right down to walking along the riverfront.

We are working on our site to now offer some of my work in print.
There is a lot of work to do on this but soon I can load a link - I hope! It is overwhelming at times...when all I really want to do is create images . . .

Please feel free to visit our site! We offer the only All Breed clip art anywhere - all inclusive.
We also offer - embroidery designs and custom work.  VISIT:  AHEAD Graphics

  1. I thought I had posted on this, the water and reflections drew my eyes to it. I love the colors and wished I had time to dabble in more i.e. playing around.

  2. You have presented your photo the way your mind and heart saw this scene. My memories are not dull and gray like the rainy day we walked the same path. They are of the grandeur and stateliness of the loop. I don't think any of us wants to display exactly what our eyes saw, but rather our personal interpretation. I can tell from your processing that you completely enjoyed your stay in Chicago.
