Impressive and looming at the same time.
This ship gives off that feeling. Large and somewhat overbearing in the harbor. It offers a unique perspective. When you get closer you feel the strength in the metal and possibly sense the travels this vessel has endured. Most have been exteme pleasure and luxury.
This is a Yacht Club ship so...
I like the reflection in this photo and when I took the shot it was pleasant and warm and sitting there watching the quiet melody of the water was very relaxing. Very calm.
Amazingly the colors are pretty true too. The water color is beautiful against the ship and sky.

you would love sitting at our Welland Canal and the three locks with all the big ships coming through...and you will not believe it, but I don't think I have more than half a dozen photos, lol. Dear oh dear...how do you mean 'Most have been exteme pleasure and luxury'? you mean experienced?

ReplyDeleteWow, I feel like I'm looking into the gullet of Moby Dick! Excellent job of emphasizing scale; looks looming and powerful. The soothing cool colorwork takes away some of the ominous feeling and leaves the strength of the boat.
