Wrigley Building detail @ night
Close...
Sometimes you have to look close-up to appreciate things.
Things need to be appreciated for just being.
I guess you can twist that to tell you - you need to look at things at every angle.
Dissect it? Try not to jump to conclusions? You can't tell a book by it's cover even?
Ok. I might be stretching it some...lol.

But I do think most things do best with a closer look. All situations have a different side.
It is really finding it that is hard.

  1. hhmmm, some might call it 'too analytical' or overly critical. Sometimes dissecting makes life appear too complicated for some fragile creatures...but I do agree with looking at everything a little closer. Like this beautiful facade. It adds charme to a not so old building and lets it therefore stand apart...

  2. You know I adore architectural detail!!! What I love about this shot is you have captured the fine points, yet have also emphasized the scale. The night lighting definitely adds to the ambiance. Absolutely beautiful. I didn't get that close to the Wrigley building. I'm sure I will after hearing you profess your love for this place. You brought home so many memorable and stunning things in your camera and in your mind's eye.
